It is so interesting that in the world, we as Christians try to hide our “Christian-side” from the world. We try not to be seen as Christians and we hide among the secular culture because we are afraid of getting blasted by the world. We need to Be Intolerant of the world’s ideals and hold fast to the promises in God.

God says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5) We need to hold fast to that promise and let our Christian-side be seen so that we can learn to trust in God more.

I challenge you this week to let Christ shine in you and through you.

Now go. And be seen.

Typically every Monday, there will be a new stupid video for you to watch. Today, is a special case because we just launched the website yesterday and I wanted to give you an idea of what to expect. So, here is your first video.

I think it’s interesting that as Christians, we try to speak to people and they don’t get it. Sometimes we need subtitles to make sense because other people don’t understand where we’re coming from. Jesus spoke in the language of the day. Now that doesn’t mean that he used derogatory language or phrases, but he spoke to people in stories (parables) that made sense to them so they could understand Him better.

How are you doing with speaking to your friends. Examine your life.

This is the first official post of Luminous Student Ministries and we’re excited to finally have a web presence. We are from Amelia, OH which is 20 miles east of Cincinnati, OH and we are an extension of Amelia Church of Christ. We are excited to have you find our page.
