Hey gang,

For those of you who are headed to CIY with us this year, you should have received your initial welcome letter and Medical forms for this year’s trip. I need to get those forms from you A.S.A.P. so that we can finalize your registrations.

Also, just a friendly reminder that your second deposit of $ 100.00 is due on May 10th which happens to be Mother’s Day. Hopefully that will remind you that when you get a present for your mother (which you should do every year) you remember that you need to pay your second deposit amount to the church.

Oh, and don’t cheap out on your mom just because you have to pay for CIY. Get her something really nice. After all, she’s done more for you than you realize!

It’s back – A little fun for your Monday! How about NITRO at the church. This kick-back relaxing event is for Jr/Sr High Students and will include a time of relaxation and fun & games. Snacks and drinks will be provided and we’ll have two televisions with all the games you can handle. Come on out Monday May 4th for NITRO starting at 3:00pm and running until 7:00pm. I’ll see you there!

Hey guys,
Just a friendly reminder that this Sunday evening is NEXUS. We’re kicking it off with some incredible worship, followed by the crazy game of Mafia!. Featured also, will be the story of Stephen from the book of Acts and we’ll learn how to trust God enough to stand up for Him even when it’s not popular to do it!

We’ll also have Guitar Hero World Tour – oh, and someone is going to go home with a pack of every flavor of Stride gum ever made! Crazy contests and funny videos will also ensue, so don’t miss out this Sunday, April 26th, from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Yes. And that’s exactly what vacation does to you….it makes you catch up.

We have some really exciting things coming up in LSM and I just wanted to take a few seconds to make you all aware of them.

First up, Home Skillet will be featured in April on the 19th, when it resumes full-time. One of the great things about Home Skillet is the discussion time we have to spend together where we talk about what we think scripture is saying, and we search out the answers together. Mark your calendars for April 19th at the Morrissey’s at 7:00pm.

Secondly, Nexus returns on April 26th. We’ll feature awesome worship, crazy games, funny videos, and we’ll talk about one of the most influential men in Scripture and our world today, Stephen – The first martyr. Don’t miss out on April 26th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Thirdly, CIY is fast approaching. If you haven’t visited our page yet, take some time to do so and familiarize yourself with the speakers and schedule for our trip.

It is an exciting time to be a part of Luminous Student Ministries and I look forward to seeing each one of you on Sunday.
